| Sick of Wave cable internet here in Sequim, WA
Over the last month and a half, I've been paying nearly 60 dollars a month for 18m down and 2m up, for the last month and a half from 2pm in the afternoon to 11-12 at night my speeds are ranging from 2m-10m not even half of my speed I pay for, when I first got the highest speed account and when wave in sequim,wa fixed there other dam issues I was getting the speed I pay for, now I get nothing for the price of 60 dollars, I might as well switch back to qwest since there dsl 5mb speed is always constant at the price you pay not any of this crap also they switched ip routes around where I could get 7 hops to 4.2.2.1 and get pings from 10-16ms average now i ping 4.2.2.1 i get 12 hops and i get pings in the 100s, since the issues my modem signals have gotten worse since they installed stupid incorrect filters on the cable lines to apartments becuz the apartment ppl were giving everyone free cable tv for a year. and with the filters things only got worse and they are using the old analog type filters that block out that junk and since they installed em on everyones line in the box the signals and SNR have gotten worse, yet the speed issues is waves side.
Lately I've been trying to get a tech out here and becuz i have a router blocking icmp pings from outside ips they wont send a tech out. what kind of crap is that... wave sucks why sell bandwidth you dont have???????????????
i had a thread on here before and dont want to bother showing millions of screen shots of evidence and proof just to be told its my equipment and lines in my apartment which have already been tested and check millions of times in the past..
Anyone have similar issues or can help me?
most important use of internet at this time is for online full time student at two seperate colleges.. |

1 edit | Like I think Ive mentioned before... Your signals are a bit towards the limits, especially the upsteam.
But if you have no packet loss to your gateway (first hop past your modem) then thats not your issue...
Hotel I stayed at during the bridge closure used Wave also. I wasnt impressed...

its 7:23pm here in sequim, wa and my download speeds are in 5meg range with full upload speed and ok latency. COME ON WAVE GET YOUR AC T TOGETHER

every day and night from 5pm till midnight this is my speed which i should not half to pay 50 dollars for a certain SPEED service that I never get for last two months now which wave wont even try now to troubleshoot or fix. im so sick of this crap |

HEY WAVE answer me this why in the hell do you sell a 18MB DOWN and 2MB upload speed teir that no one on your network or infrastructure can acheive? I should have to pay 50 dollars plus taxes for something I get 1/3 of the time each day? |
