| if quad's the same price let's face it, cable phone VoIP is basically free with broadband (see MagicJack), so charging for it is pure profit. if companies instead gave you basic cell phone service for the same price as current triple plays, then they'd have something compelling. unfortunately Verizon could join this bandwagon anytime, so the Cable companies would only end up provoking Verizon into being an even more attractive competitor. |
