Re: Too bad Actually, if a network has more viewers, it means they will make more money. That's what really matters. Long gone are the days when news was independent from entertainment. Everything on the air (including via cable and satellite) must be sensational or it will not attract a mass audience. Tabloids still succeed at the supermarket checkout line because they are sensational. The same rule has long applied to TV. Edward R. Murrow may be rolling in his grave, but no one cares.
