Re: Road Runnner up to 50 mbps is ready ! Yep... I installed mine yesterday, and TWC came back out today.. their reason for the sync drop was because my node is not ready yet.. I told the tech yeah right, and he agreed with me... well it came down to this, i get the service for free until my block is ready.. you should call... get your monies worth. |

They're sending out a high lvl tech today. They couldn't figure out why the modem is dropping sync and so often. I want to know why they're using SMC crap. They keep telling me it looks fine on their end. Well yeah it's fine until the sync drops and takes a few minutes to reacquire and internet come back on. I told him to look at the modem's event log and he will see the errors each time it happens. He can't even login! They don't know how to and it's their modem. I asked for his email and sent him a text file of the event log copied & pasted from the modem. Maybe the modem's a lemon. When he called back after reviewing the log I made sure to ask him to have the tech bring an extra modem to replace mine. |

 | Pretty sure SMC is the cheapest modem they could by. Why get a better model when you can get a cheaper one? |
