Re: [Fiber Pics] Faxing errors with Fios Telephone Line I would be suspicious of the inside wiring. Sounds like the history of the service was VZ POTS > Comcast > VZ FiOS. As Mystryfiostk eluded to, the coax cowboys can really hack up the inside wiring. When I went from POTS to TWC for phone, the tech made a mess of the wires. I spent a lot of time fixing it. Then I moved, had Comcast and the same thing.
As others suggested: Plug the fax directly into the phone jack on the ONT. Go buy a long cable if you need to. This will eliminate all the inside wiring. If you plug into the ONT and can fax without problems, your problem is not FiOS but the phone wiring in the house. |
