I agree with the above post 100%. Haven't had any issues faxing since I switched to FiOS in May. I'm using a Sharp UX-300 (piece of junk) fax machine, and it's been as good as the old copper. Definitely time to try faxing directly from the jack on the ONT, if it's borked there, I'd suspect your machines have gone south.
