Re: SPAM, Not as Big a Problem as They Want People to Think Yeah, to be honest I think a lot of the anti-spam groups have gotten pretty good at what they do to the point the end user isn't seeing the huge numbers as what used to be commonplace. Google used to be the only really good one with Gmail, but nowadays the other big providers and even client-side solutions have gotten good at filtering out garbage with as few false positives as possible.
And if you keep watch of our security and IT admin forum here, those who run their own email systems will attest to how much spam still comes through their ports before the AS solutions kick in. It's still there, but anti-spam techniques have gotten extremely accurate. -- I swear, some people should have pace-makers installed to free up the resources.
