[Sports] It was a good run

We should give the Braves credit. They had a Hell of a run the last couple of weeks.
I'm sure we all gave them up for dead just a few weeks ago. But by golly they gave it a shot.
With the pitching staff on hand next year will be quite interesting.
Cox retiring and Chipper to follow, will make for "Go Braves" again.
Get on the bandwagon people! Next year will be exciting.

Too bad their rally was a little too late.

Agreed. I wasn't in the "believe" camp, but if they would've beat Josh Johnson I think I would have been. It's nice to see they bounced back very well from the disaster of last year. I'm really looking forward to next year. Hopefully they get some pop in the offseason, and I hope Jason Heyward makes it to Atlanta as well. I see the Braves doing with him what they did with Tommy Hanson this year though.

Things are looking up once again.

I agree. Except I don't understand why they waited until June to bring up Hanson. If they would have kept him it would have meant at least 3 or 4 more wins.
Plus once again the bullpen let us down again.
How many times did Soriano give up Walk Offs? How many games we could have won if they didn't have the stupid pitch count rule?
I say go back to the good old days when a pitcher doing well will complete a game.
It's too bad that the Braves finally found some POP in the last two weeks. Where was it all year?
They waited too long to get rid of Francour. They waited too long for Kelly Johnson.
They did some stupid things through out the season that cost them in the end.
That being said I think they learned from the mistakes and I'm looking forward to next year.
And by the way. If anyone can blame Diaz for his mistake, that is total bull. Matt Diaz came on and did one Hell of of job this year.
