<description><![CDATA[Icon posted : Have you made sure that each phone, satellite receiver, house alarm panel test jack, etc has a DSL filter <i>correctly</i> plugged into it?  By correctly, I mean that any device other than the modem is plugged into the "Phone" side of the filter.  <br><br>The patch cord from the modem to your PC isn't the issue.  The signal is too weak coming into the modem to begin with.  You can also test from the phone box on the side of your house.  There should be a test jack inside, and you can run a long phone cord from that test jack directly to the modem, and check the stats again.]]></description>
