The Zippy Phone/Softphone actually becomes a 3rd line.
You can technically connect 3 phones (2 to the telephone adapter and 1 to the Zippy) and have 3 separate simultaneous conversations. |

Would that become a 4th line? |

1 edit | reply to srm59 Just a clarification regarding the Softphone. It works great, but only with one number (Line 1=your number, Line 2=your cloned number). If you have 2 different lines and numbers with PhonePower, you can not assign them to Line 1 and Line 2 in the Softphone, even if they are correctly assigned to Port 1 and Port 2 in the Grandstand. It might not be a big deal for many users, but it is for those of us who pay for 2 lines and want to use the Softphone with both our home and our home-office numbers.
And one more thing: in standby (waiting for a call), the Softphone is constantly eating 5% of the CPU resources of an Intel Core i7 920. Isn't that way too much?
Any update on these two issues? |

| We have plans to allow users to share multiple lines on one Zippy device, this is still under development, but is on our roadmap for the future.
Regarding the softphone resource usage, I have PM'd you my direct contact info so that we can better assess and work on the issue. |
