New install issues

A friend of mine just moved to a new place and the association has a contract with Qwest, she did the self install kit and had no luck with that. After calling Qwest she was told that 'all of the ports are full and they won't have new equipment until November'. Do any of you know a way to expedite that process? Over a month is bullshit - but typical corporate crap, customer has no choice on which product so they take their sweet ass time.

so they are going to take their sweet ass time, because they really don't want paying customers...

30 days for adding ports actually might be pretty quick depending on other factors. If adding capacity amounts to simply adding cards to existing equipment, then 30 days could be stretching it. If adding capacity means adding adding an entire new DSLAM then 30 days is pretty quick. Also depends on if it an RT or not.

Of course that really doesn't help your friend. There is a similar forum on the qwest website, where actual qwest techs monitor. Might want to post there as well.
