so are you overclocking through the BIOS, or through Overdrive?
I would recommend going through the BIOS. Also, it's showing your voltage at like 1.42. Try going up to 1.45-1.475. That should net you 3.6-3.7ghz. |

| yea, as I said earlier... you should be able to bump your voltage a little more and get another 100-200mhz clock speed.
Currently you are running 1.42v. You are probably safe up to 1.5-1.55v.
I'd push it to 1.45-1.475 and raise your multi another notch. |

Smoove910 Premium join:2005-08-01 Nampa, ID | what happens if you start raising your HT (FSB)... Default is 200 mhz. You can try raising it to 205mhz and see if it boots. Raising to 205 mhz will get you to 2587.5mhz |

Watch your temps!
Good job! |

Smoove910 Premium join:2005-08-01 Nampa, ID | the last thing I would try is maybe adding another tick of voltage to your NB and your ram.
Other than that, I think you may have reached your ceiling. |

| reply to jchambers28 Here are some pic of my Phenom II x3 720 BE (4th core unlocked) on my Asus M4A79T Deluxe.
I had it at 3.52 (17.5 Multi) with a core voltage of 1.525 but to get the 4th running I had to up it to 1.55 and bring the multi to 17 giving me 3.41 x4

|
Napsterbater Premium join:2002-12-28 Milledgeville, GA | As far as Iv tested it I have yet to crash with it at 3.41 x4, Iv been gaming and pushing it for about 2 weeks now.
Now of course if you cant even get the 4th to work at stock speed with bumped voltage it could be defective. |

| Try running an instance of Prime95 on each core for 8 hours to verfiy. Gaming doesn't necessarily stress the CPU 100% while you are playing since it's more of a GPU intensive task. Awesome you got a free core regardless, I'd just throw some crazy work at it to ensure the stability. |
