Just checked the link. It might replace calling, but I wouldn't do it that way. At least not if you want anything done anytime soon. |

install.charter.com does indeed provision the modem in 99% of the time correctly as long as the service has been ordered and the package is created. If you are just swapping your modem than it will provision the modem to the same package you have , you will still have to call in to give the mac id so they can put it on your account. |

The install page is what tech's in the field use to swap modems. I use it all the time on trouble calls and it works fine. |
