The 2200 WAN port expects an ADSL signal.  After Efficient Networks bought Flowpoint they created the 5880 for that purpose.  I'll sell him mine if he wants one.]]></description>

<title>FlowPoint 2200</title>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/0"><b>anon</b></A> : My brother wants to re-use his FlowPoint 2200 dsl router, on his new broadband connection.  My question is would he be able to use it, since our cable provider issues us a dhcp address.  I didn't see the option to set the wan port to dhcp, seems like it only support static IPs.<br><br>Any advice.<br><br>I already told him to just use a linksys, but he's fixed on re-using this 2200. :(<br><br>Thanks]]></description>
