It is up and available through iTunes and the app store. Just opened it up and it works fine with no lock ups or anything. -- Reality doesn't bite, rather our perception of reality bites. - Anthony J. D'Angelo |

Re: Iphone/Touch Battle.net Mobile Authenticator available again I had this app and loved the extra security, but I moved to a different country where I don't have internet all the time with my iPhone. Obviously, I don't get cell service with my iPhone either. So I de-activated my authenticator.
If I re-enable the authenticator and download it to my iPhone, can I use the authenticator to log into WoW even when I don't have internet access on my iPhone?
I used to think that that the authenticator received its code online, but it's pre-synced to blizzard, right? So I can use my internet-less iPhone's authenticator to login? -- »www.spacegazelle.com |

- Two WOW accounts (obviously needs to be switched) - Two iPhones
Can the app be used for both wow accounts from both iphones? -- ~ Insert a Funny Sig Here ~ |

TiraelBOHICAPremium join:2009-03-18 Sacramento, CA kudos:1 | You can link one authenticator to multiple accounts. To answer your question, yes/no. Can you link the same authenticator to two accounts? Yes. Can you link two different authenticator applications to two different WoW accounts? Yes. Can you link two different authenticators on two seperate phones to both WoW accounts and use the two different authenticators to open up the WoW accounts? No. Each version you download will have a different, randomly generated serial number. So, Iphone A will have one serial number attached to its authenticator app, while Iphone B will have a different serial number. -- Reality doesn't bite, rather our perception of reality bites. - Anthony J. Im asking b/c I would like to know if there is any fact behind it. Nobody said it can be hacked, but people have expressed reservation toward using a mobile authenticator. This is because it has the potential to be compromised since you manually and wirelessly connect your iPhone to computers that could theoretically infect the iPhone OS with some kind of authenticator copying algorithm. But this is all extremely unlikely. -- »www.spacegazelle.com |
