This is officially available through Shaw and can now be ordered through sales.

$149 bundled, and $157 standalone (was $169 standalone before)

I live in Winnipeg, and not that I would be ordering it for that insane amount of money anyway, but it has never and still does not (just checked right now) show up on their Winnipeg website as being available.

At the bottom of the page, change your locale using your postal code. It then will show you that it is available and the new $149 price. I just checked and it showed up for Winnipeg.

This price drop is awesome

$150 for 100/5 with 400 GB a month is completely reasonable imo. Definetly ordering this.

I saw that price fro Nitro the other day and thought I must've misread it. I'll be all over that when I move next month.

Just got it a few hours ago. Not too bad considering i'm on a highly congested node in Calgary and its primetime right now.

Yea man, you missed the launch which happened months ago (Feb 09). You can set your locale to whatever you want. Go into your cookies and delete all the Shaw.ca ones. One of them has your postal code which you manually entered at one point. Then go back to Shaw.ca and type in a Saskatoon (try S7K 0J5) or Calgary postal code, and you'll see the 100mbps service is available.

49224214 you're just embarrassing yourself at this point. Be sure to do some research before spewing BS.

Post a link to the shaw webpage saying they offer 100mbit service. Its not on their, are you thinking of Business Internet? Because I am talking about RESIDENTIAL Internet. Post a link saying where they offer 100mbit besides the rumour DSLreports.com link.

Looks like in the three new launch cities it's now $149 a month.

Tried to order nitro and man.. the customer service reps don't know what they are selling... They told me that nitro was a charge on top on my existing service... I had to show him the webpage to show it wasn't... He scheduled me to have a tech over today to install it but now i find out that they don't even have the modem in stock at all... Upset about this i asked the rep if they could give me at least warp until the modem comes in and she is telling me that the warp service is not available in calgary. Once again I had to tell the rep to check out the website because it is available in calgary...

Sheesh... inform your staff on what they are selling.. its kind of embarrassing that your customers know more about the product then the staff actually selling it..

I now have to wait a week till the modems come in... Waste my whole day at home for nothing...

A heed of warning... if you are ordering shaw nitro, have the rep double check if the modem is in stock before scheduling a appointment...
