| New max ram with bios upgrade
I have these 2 PCs. Motherboards: ms-7104, 2 ram banks 2GB max ms-6330, 3 ram banks 1.5GB max
I just upgraded BIOS to both. Asked MSI if the max ram had increased, but they simply returned the original spec sheet for each.
I had an old 1.1GHx Intel board, upgraded the bios and then the board would recognize higher capacity ram sticks. So thinking these 2 boards might now recognize higher capacity RAM sticks.
What are chances these board will recognize higher max RAM? |

Where would I find notes which state new features or enhancements provided?

In the Intel board reference, the BIOS flash also did not state higher ram capacity, but I took a chance since I already had the higher capacity ram - this time I do not have suitable RAM to test.
Thanks for the input. |
