May I ask why you don't like it?

Personally I have no idea whether it will work or not nor whether it will be open to abuse (ie people reporting the slightest little thing in the hope that it will develop into something serious thus earning them a few pence).

Edit:

As I understand it these are privately owned CCTV cameras not those found on the streets which is where I believe your outrage may stem from. I too would have some qualms about that.

A company can pay to join the internet eyes site and upload images from its own CCTV cameras for others watch. No one knows where the cameras they are viewing are located. I wonder just how many companies will use the site; my guess would be very few.

Edit2: Web cam sites are all over the net and they feature footage from cameras in public places but I never hear anyone complaining about those intruding on privacy.
