Upload Speeds

My Frontier has been working very well,,, I am getting 2235 kbps download speeds,,,and 271 kbps upload speed.

that 271 sure looks like a small number, is that the norm ? Does a person even need a faster upload ? Can you even get a fast upload from Frontier ?

My download is about the same as yours, and my upload is usually around 520. I forget what the modem is technically provisioned at, but the service is supposed to be 2mbit down/512kbit up for my account.

My account is provisioned at 3Mbps/384kbps. I could always use a bit more upload and download while having the line on Fast Packet mode as it already is. On speed tests I pull 3200kbps download, 390kps upload. Real world transfers they run at 390KB/s download, and 50KB/s upload. Modem is provisioned at 3712kbps downstream sync, 448kbps upstream sync. Line is on FAST mode, using G.DMT, a SpeedStream 6520. Attenuation is 41.5dB and SNR is 22.5dB.

Your upload is slow JSolari. Ask them about it. When I had Frontier here I was seeing 900 on the upload at times.
