reply to whozzit In California, if the local telco offers DSL, they're allowed to block any other DSL from entering the area. That allows them to charge whatever they want to charge for DSL service. Wireless ISP's, like Digitalpath, are not blocked as they use no cable or co-axial to provide service. I lucked out. I've been using Digitalpath since 2003. It's faster than DSL and uses no cable at all.
