I just looked at the logo from last year and this year's shots are pitiful. But that's mainly the weather's fault. This whole past month has been mostly overcast and, at least around here, as of yesterday the trees are either green or bare with about half a dozen actually in full color. Last year the colors were incredible, this year they're half-assed.

Shrinking it to logo size made all the nooks and crannies a fuzzy blur. I over sharpened it to enhance the details giving it a different look. I put them side by side. |

| It's not your adjustments that make it look strange, it's the picture itself, the master. It just has an 'off' feel to me. It has since I took it a few years ago (they didn't do it this year).

But my mom came up to help me plant some tulips and daffodil bulbs for next spring.

I was driving around today doing my errands. I came across a car stopped (literally in the middle of the road) because a tourist! was taking pictures. I thought we went past peak, but I as I drove more I looked and found it isn't bad at all!
My goal tomorrow is to get my camera out and find some colors.
If a tourist can stop traffic for pics, then something must be worth taking pictures of!

| Every so often the settings reset themselves
I find the occasional tree down here still blooming wildly, but on a whole, this is a horrible year for foliage. I went down to the Concord River yesterday and in one week they went from green to gone, the entire riverbank where I went is nothing but sticks.
We're also getting one to three days a week of sun, the rest being wind and rain which takes the leaves off faster.
Stopped dead in the middle of the road? You get some real idiots up there
