Sick of Wavecable in Bremerton

Well they have managed to oversell my area once again so speeds are down in the 1.5/1MB range every evening. Can't even stream Netflix anymore.

I really can't stand Wave. If there was any other choice but dial up, I would gladly drop these amateurs in a heartbeat.

basicly for the most part this how cable is, I use to install it. look at my test history my advertized is 6down 1up! I switched from qwest dsl which was very very consistent with like 1 outage due to power. qwest dsl was the shit(were I lived) it's like 14.99 for 1.5mbps which is what I had plus you get free norton anti virus webroot with the premuim.
But it all really depends were you live I've heard stories about dsl two. check your dsl carriers people pc offers dsl as low as 10.99 with qwest being the provider in my area.
wave is offereing 10down and 1 up for 34.95 for a year.

the only thing with my (1.5down) was gaming on the weekends was impossible on some games but it could have been something else?
I can forsee some droped games possibly with cable when it drops to 500k?

I have noticed low latency on my cable conection which is optimum for gaming.
It was quite high with qwest which probably killed my game.

Its not always been this way...

This is worse than its ever been. Im seeing extreme high latency on noanet where they said it would never happen.

I live in Bremerton too. I'm paying for 6MB and getting speeds like your posted speed check. What can a person do. I don't think qwest 1.5MB for the same price would be much of an improvement.

really my 1.5 qwest was really about the same performance as my 6mbps cable package. my qwest was way more steady of a connection. I'm still getting droped games with my cable and very low latency

As was posted earlier, it's never been like this before. Seems to be better the past few weeks.
