dont know if there any viking fans here. even though I am from Miami,,,,,always have been a viking fan. (must be the purple). but they look alot better than last year. hopefully they can keep it going if and when Farve leaves. here's a thought: Farve retires,,,,,Vick moves there. |

| I wouldn't say they look a LOT better,
they did go 10-6 (after starting 4-3) last year and made the playoffs, so it was a pretty solid team then.
Don't base your purple euphoria on what you saw Monday night, Packers O-line was in shambles, and they were still able to keep it relatively close.
Peterson was held in major check.
But with all that said, I do think Favre (yep it is Fav-re) has a good chance to take them further if he doesn't get really dinged. They did add Bernard Berrian so Bret has a weapon that Tavares didn't have last year.
It is definitely looking bright.

| OchoStinko did not make an effort to catch the ball. If he had, Ray's hit is fine, since he didn't it wouldn't surprise me to see at least a fine since that made it look late and unnecessary.
But I didn't see any way Ray could have known that stinko wasn't even going to offer alligator arms at that ball.
On another note, since the Redskins hired Sherm Lewis as an "offensive consultant", I'm wondering if enough time has passed for that "offensive consultant" to really be revealed as Zorn's replacement. We all know that Snyder isn't one to wait until the season is over (Robiskie anyone?)
To me it is not a matter of IF but WHEN. Zorn takes the fall for a mediocre O-line and a limited QB. It has moved into the locker room with Portis asking that Sellers be benched, which I'm guessing is frustration from Portis with the holes he is finding or not finding to run into.
I place fault on Vinny Cerruto, who is not a great "GM" but more of a front man who allows Snyder input out of the public eye. Maybe they are doing Zorn a favor if they get him out of the burgundy and gold quagmire.
