My first thought is that I want Verizon to become just that dumb-pipe. But perhaps there are still services that they can provide, such as Visual Voicemail (as now provided to the iPhone from AT&T). Then again, with Google Voice, is that even a requirement? I think I was right in the first place. I just want them to be a dumb pipe.
