Re: basic math Maybe you should try being in Missouri, There are very few areas where any GSM carrier beats CDMA. I can call from basements and metal buildings (on my Verizon BlackBerry) while my at&t buddies can't even get a 911 signal. I can also use my 3G coverage from St. Louis all the way to Kansas City, MO if I want while at&t only has 3G coverage in STL, Columbia, and KC on I-70 (minus a couple of smaller towns by the major areas) so I will stick with my CDMA. I also have Sprint for my Netbook (CDMA Powered.. had the choice for at&t and wouldn't touch them).
Perhaps you should try actually traveling the USA just like you suggested that Eat Me should.... Also at&t has a major problem with not updating its map info with the FCC fast enough and since you are using a 3rd party site the information may be incorrect.
Now since I have said the above, LET IT DROP. |

1 edit | The 3rd party site is for all GSM, not just ATT. You can roam onto other company networks. If you live in Kansas City you better have better coverage with Sprint since they are headquartered there. Kansas City has over 30 ATT towers. I have traveled throught Kansas and I know Verizon coverage has gaps on the highways.
To what you claim about ATT not working in basements, I have had that same experience everywhere else where ATT works in basements and Verizon does not.
It just amazes me how people lie about coverage. You cannot tell me CDMA has better coverage when I know it does not. You guys need to let it drop already. -- Democrats are not Socialists any more than Republicans are. |
