Is the city of Philadelphia getting close to adding the 40 new HD channels that a lot of other areas are getting? |

I don't think so. I think they have to rearrange our local channels first like they did in Bensalem, PA so that all the "Expanded channels start around channel 30 or so. |

Anyone have an idea of when that may be happening? |

If we get 40 more HD I would be a lot happier paying my $209 triple play bill!! |

| reply to gate1975mlm still having the same internet issues and got on the chat feature again to try to understand what the issue is....resetting modum multiple times a day.....yet if i wait 45 minutes...it reconnects by itself, the helpdesk is telling me it is my router, but I think it is the signal. I never had any issues in the last 4 years until the last 45 days.
I followed up on the HD channels to be added and was told that there was no info on the lineup...so either my initial contact with comast agev bad info, or the dates are sliding.
I am in whitemarsh pa....only about 10 analog channels look to be removed so far. Anyone having the same issues??? |

I also scanned ClearQAM, not a SINGLE thing found. This isn't normal is it? I thought you should at least see locals in there.
Would love an update on this...we are between 2 county's that have had HD updates. |

| Sorry Patsub, but i am afraid Philadelphia is not until Late 1st Quarter 2010 at the Earliest, all the areas that have started or are finishing in SE PA were in Chester and Bucks. They just started taking analogs off in Montgomery County, so there is a very long way to go yet for PA, were behind compared to Northern NJ, but are ahead of Maryland, but it's comcast call as to what Cherry picking pecking order that they what to do, it's there call since, it is their Cable System, all we can do is simple enjoy the ride!!!, if you want to know exactly where things stand in each particular area i will gladly tell you what i know to this point, but you probably will not like what your going to hear!!! |
