ScottMoOnce in a LifetimePremium,MVM join:2000-12-15 Stony Brook, NY | I'm using it on the WIN7 RC. As soon as I get my real copy of WIN7 and go through the looong upgrade process, one of the first programs I'm loading is MSE. Very happy with it. |

Wondering if there are enough folks here using it to warrant including the product in the updates listing. I am running MSE on my Windows 7 Ultimate laptop and my wife's XP Pro desktop. I have also installed it on a number of computers belonging to relatives or urged them to install it. -- "When all else fails, read the instructions..." MS-MVP Windows Desktop Experience |

 | reply to mers2 I removed an expired Norton's from a Dell and installed MSE. Debate still open... -- Splat |

 | reply to mers2 Have installed it on 3 or 4 computers so far. It seemed to adversely affect upload speed on Ebay uploading photos on one computer. Removed it and reinstalled Avast and problem disappeared. Working great for remainder of pc's. |

 | reply to mers2 I use it on my may laptop but also plan to install it on my 2 towers once my Kaspersky license expires in November. I don't like its update mechanism as it seems to miss updating if the laptop is off when its scheduled to update. Other than that, it seems good so far. The real test will be if it continues to get high marks in virus tests or if MS gets lazy with it like they did with Windows Defender. |

 | reply to mers2 Have been using it throughout beta and now release. Light on system resources and a pleasant interface. Please add to updates. |

| reply to mers2 I'm currently running it on two machines - a Desktop XP with SP3 (32 bit) and on my primary use notebook with Windows 7 (x64).
Been very pleased with it so far. -- If things get any worse, I'll have to ask you to stop helping me. |

 | reply to mers2 Yes, using it here on a few machines. I wish the update interval was less though. My hibernating laptops can go for days without updates. I think it should check for updates sooner than typical hibernate times are. And then check upon waking up. |
