VPN tunnel issues with BT

I have a remote site on Onyx internet and Netgear FVS114 Prosafe firewall I have setup a tunnel from my office also with Onyx ADSL (both max and achieve 4.5mb) here I am using a netgear DG834 and this works fine.

Now the problem I have netgear DG834 at my new site which is on BT Adsl and cannot get the VPN to work. Is this down to BT blocking VPN Tunnels?

I am not familiar with what BT is short for, BlueTooth, British Telecomm, Bit Torrent, etc. but when I use Comcast, I have to be at the 'Teleworker' level of service for VPN to work. No other ISP I use requires that.

May I know the Version of DG834 you are working with?.
Also in the VPN configuration page try to set the IKE Direction as Responder instead of Initiator and Responder and see if it works.

I am reluctant to provide one with this tool for you MUST know how to use it.

You MUST HAVE AN APPLICATION RUNNING AND READY TO ACCEPT A CONNECTION or you will get a false negative.
