 [Help Me] DAP-2553 getting access too configuration

I am in desperate need of some assistance.

I recently bought my access Point the DAP-2553 and its functioning good.

But i cant get too log on too the AP for configuration of the security key? so right now I've got an open AP

In the install guide is an address 192.168.0.50 but that doesn't work so i called the support too ask fore guidance but they couldn't help me either

Then i tried too install the APManagerII program but that requires MySQL 5,0 and ODBC 3,51 i have installed both and i think i have configured it correct? but again no luck.

I am going from a Zyxel Router and through a hub.

PLZ HELP ME what am i doing wrong?

i am a newbie in this AP and MySQL - so PLZ step by step explanations

@shawcable.net

Plug the DAP-2553 into a desktop or laptop and MANUALLY configure the desktop/laptop to use an IP address of 192.168.0.1

Once your system is configured, you can log into the DAP-2253 to configure the access point and change its IP to match your own network.

After DAP-2553 is configured, change your desktop/laptop back to original network settings.

You should be all set to go.

Good luck. I just installed 2 of these in an office building and have full 2-floor coverage of about 18,000 sq ft. Call me impressed.
