Between the time that all the fiber is laid, to when the service is available. Verizon dug up my lawn back in June, but the service according to their website isn't available yet.. |

| reply to NJGuy88 That has a lot to do with, if your C.O. is already live, and they are now doing the buried areas or the whole C.O. needs to be 'turned up'. You can find your C.O. by entering a VZ phone # here; »/coinfo
You can usually tell when a buried neighborhood goes 'live', by all the buried flags at the homes of those that have ordered. Also, they often send the door to door salespeople around.
In NJ the economy and the fact that they are trying to backfill buried and condo areas of existing C.O.`s may slow things down a bit. |

| reply to NJGuy88 Mine took about 2 months, but we are an above ground area, so that might take less time.
It might also be worth a call every now and then. When the fiber went live here, I put my number in and it came up unavailable. I called the same day and they said it was. It's been noted from time to time that there are some data base issues.. |
