Lease Obtained for 7 days then disconnects? - WNDR3700

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can make my Internet Connection Lease NOT expire?

For some reason it expires every 7 days which it disconnects and gets the lease again which is REALLY annoying when I'm working.

It says in connection status:

Lease Obtained 7 days, 0 hour(s), 0 minute(s)
Lease Expires 6 days, 12 hour(s), 52 minute(s)

Any idea how I can make it NEVER expire? It never use to expire on my old router....

Cheers!

Lease time is set by the ISP server. Normally the router should auto renew before expiration.

Thanks for the reply, does this mean when it renews that I should lose internet connection temporarily before it expires?

No, the renewal should occur before expiration and without disconnect.
