| $328/month, full T1 circuit to internet. SDSL at 1.5 speed would be cheaper (if available). free install, with free router. price good to commercial building. if to residence, then we'll have to discuss. to discuss, join forum (no email SPAM, and the ads go away), then click my name in blue to the left and fill in your contact info in the yellow box. |

(Laughing continues) Seriously, why would anyone go with a 3G in a business environment in the first place? I'm just curious, sounds like something I'd put in a remote site at best! *smile*

I placed one of those wireless deals pitched by voice_data above into a restaurant in Albuquerque in a very heavy retail commercial district right along I25. Because the real estate is mostly parking lot, revenue per square mile density was too light to support extending either cable or DSL into the center. Dude needed internet to support his credit card terminal (franchiser required internet access for credit card clearing, and didn't have a satellite deal like larger operations). T1 was too expensive for the need, and USB sticks didn't get a strong enough signal. Voila -- one more delighted customer. One man's crap can be another man's treasure. |
