Abilene, TX: Internet Speeds dipped very low.

I live in the south part of town near the mall. I have had very consistent service since I moved into my apartment 9 months ago. This evening my 8 Mbit down connection went very low. I power cycled all of my PCs and my modem and router in the appropriate way. I linked my PC ethernet directly to my modem and still no change in service quality.

I'm just curious if others in my area have a similar experience or if it's just me.

I have the same problem with the 8Mbit service. They are oversold and out of bandwidth.

Yep getting 2mb out of the 8mb I am paying for, my netflix streaming HD just took a dump right now. I came back to suddenlink after being gone for 6 months over seas. Im getting fed up with this. I am going to post a review change and if this is still going on in 1 month, im done with suddenlink.

I noticed that suddenlink had about a 2 hour outage tonight. I happened to catch the connection when it came back online and decided to run a speed test. I know that a lot of clients will be offline immediately after an outage so it's a good time to take a fresh speed test when the network has low traffic.
