does the speedtest still work?

when i try to use the speedtest on the cableone site, it tells me "It appears you are not connected to the Internet through the cable modem registered to this account. To access your speed test, please log in to My Account while on your Cable One service."

it worked just fine the last time i tried it a few weeks ago and nothing has changed.

also, it's horribly slow tonight which is why i wanted to try the speed test.

You know, I was having some super strange performance last night as well. I think I was having extreme cases of packet loss as my usenet program was reporting a speed of over 20 Mbps (norm is 14Mbps solid) but speed tests here at DSLR was pointing at 5 to 4 Mbps speeds. This is on the 12/1.5 Bus Pre Plan. I didn't think to try the CableOne speed test.

The cableone speed test is working for me today although the remote test is showing crap performance. I don't have time right now to investigate if there's an issue.
