| can't log into my verizon online account
Ok. this is weird. signed up for verizon fios triple play a few weeks ago. it was installed about 2 weeks ago. works great. i had set up my account online so I can view my account online. i was able to log in and view my account even though nothing was "set up" yet. as of yesterday, when i go to login with my username and password, it comes back saying that i have to register my phone number for billing purposes and then when i put my number in it says that the phone number is not active with verizon and will be deactivated! also, the greeting had said "my name" at the top when I log in. Now it says "greetings CABLEVISION!" WTF! I had previously had cablevision/optimum before signing up with verizon. can someone take care of this over the phone? i have a feeling the person is not going to know what i am talking about. |

| reply to obeythelaw You are logging in where? At verizon.com or verizon.net? A verizon.net acct is your online acct, call the FSC they can help you. 888-553-1555 A verizon.com acct is your billing acct, handled by the ecenter, sorry don't have that number but call the FSC they should have it. |

I'm having difficulties of a slightly different type, although they're definitely driving me up a wall. I got my service installed on September 29 and everything's been great. I signed into Verizon Central to see when I was going to get billed, and hey there's the bill, except I can't pay it. myVerizon DOES NOT WORK. I've been unable to log in for three days. Possibly I wouldn't have been able to log in before that. Who knows! When I try, I get the error you see above. I don't have home phone service through Verizon, which those links require, so that doesn't help me.
Searching for that error message on Google has exactly one result and it isn't helpful: »forums.verizon.com/vrzn/board/me···.id=2354
I tried making an account at the VZ community site, except when I try to log in that breaks too and I get a bunch of HTML and error scripts. I'm at a loss. Has this happened to anyone else? Will it stop? Do I need to descend into tech support hell? Thanks for any input... 
edit: I do have cellular service through Verizon, and I can log into the Verizon Wireless site just fine, so. Is there a way to link those, maybe? Just a thought. |
