westell modem question

anon posted : ok so i had a motorola netopia 3347-02 and was having problems with my nat type 3 on the ps3. So i tried reseting my router to try to fix the problem or to at least try to re-set up the right config. anyway it was a total fail.........now i can't get a wireless signal from my router. The wireless light doesn't even turn on now. So i decided to go back to my old set up which was a westell modem and a dlink router. Problem now is that at first the westell seemed fine and all lights would come on but for what ever reason my laptop just wouldn't connect. I could see the dlink, it would even say connected but i couldn't even get to open the homepage. So i tried reseting the westell modem and now the internet light doesn't come on at all. I need help on trying to fix this problem..........
