Second Wideband Installation Fail

So for the 2nd time i a month, a technician arrived at my house to install the newly available Wideband service and I find out afterwards it hasn't rolled out in my area yet.

He left the wideband smc equipment installed, but apparently I have to call like every week to see if it is my area so they can provision the modem for WB.

I just cannot believe this debacle. No timeline and 2 days lost of work. And all I can keep doing is calling over and over again.

Do you get a blue light for the downstream on the modem? if you do, then you are ready. if its green, then your SOL.

They are green. I have to keep calling to see if it is available so they can provision it with Wideband codes. The technician on the walkie said Oct. 23rd.
