Re: the old days When I worked at an elementary school a few years ago, it saddened me greatly that some kids, in 5th and 6th grade, had no idea how to use either a dictionary or a telephone book.
Some kids were literally frightened at the prospect of using either.
It was also shocking to them that I remembered life before the internet... It would be like imagining a world without cars or motorized vehicles I guess (too difficult for most people to imagine).
...Well, still glad the data was "found" and "should be" able to be restored...
