Exactly. This is what's wrong with companies nowadays. Instead of spending the extra capital improving their core business (and there's plenty of room for improvement) they instead choose to get into a business that has at best a peripheral connection to their real profit maker. They wonder why there is so much uproar about the supposed "need" for consumption based billing and competition from muni-broadband efforts when they squander their profits entering a market in which they have no experience all while facing stiff competition from other sources (you think Verizon and AT&T are going to stand by and watch TW sap their profits?).
