We just got a set of AT&T DECT cordless phones. They worked but there was a loud clacking sound during the dial-tone which we never had on our other phones. I put back our old Mediatrix ATA to get a dial-tone and there no problem with that. So I went to the live web CS and finally convinced them to lower the volume a bit on the Grandstream and that cured it. I think that's what he did. I lost the chat window cuz of the ATA reboot.

Vtech now owns AT&T and they look to be functionally the same.
