Re: Media running stories just to downplay WiMAX's potential I agree. What WiMAX will become is standards for a collection of asset-based community development technologies which can be deployed today that will directly benefit workforce development, education, the environment and socio-economic issues that plague our local communities and governments daily in today's economy. The introduction of WiMAX technologies will act as a catalyst and pioneer/sustain these types of programs and services that will ultimately benefit our communities and drive participation by the large incumbents as newer technologies are introduced in the marketplace.
