| So what are others doing for fall/winter?
I spent today sweeping the patio (a never-ending job thanks to my neighbor's dogwood); taking down the patio table umbrella and putting it in the garage; covering the patio table with a new cover (the old one failed last winter); moving all the decorations and candle holders and end tables under the patio awning; caulking the windows.
Last week I painted the weather sides of the house.

| I know what you mean. I have to rake up the leaves from the 7 silver alders that surround my house every year. For all the nuisance they are in the fall, these trees provide great shade in the summer, help keep the house cooler and the cooling bill down. And yes, I still have to get the patio furniture into storage, seems like I just brought them out.
Actually I look forward to the fall / winter season. I love the short days and long nights.
