Lets see how many people will remember this as a lesson to never trust cloud computing/software as a service and to remember how to live in a world post- »en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_pulse holocaust. Remember what a paper contact book looks like in your wallet? Remember how to use a payphone? Remember how to develop film? Remember how to schedule meeting someone without "I'll call you when I'm getting close"? Remember how to do taxes on paper? Remember how to contact the fire department when your house is on fire without tweeting it first? And for some, remember how to use a voice phone call (the text/email/IM-only folks)? Or remember how to use a yellow pages book? Or remember how to use a public library and books? Remember how to use the post office? Remember how to order something from a catalog by mail?
Is there seriously anybody, at least any adult who can't answer "yes" to every question?

As for the developing film question, I assume you mean taking the film to a developer and having them process it for you.  Not many people actually developed their own film, even before digital cameras became popular.

I do see your point though.  It's always great to keep backups that don't rely on a single server.
