slowish speeds

hi
bell says i can have 6mb down.
i am with acanac my speeds are 2.54 down and .6 up

is something wrong or is this as good as it gets?

can you post your modem stat cause what Bell says and what the modem stat will say can be different since dsl depends on the distance from the co

Don't forget, with residential internet you can only get 5Mpbs, 6Mbps is for business

It depend on the modem you got, if you have a router, you have to connect the modem directly on your computer, enter 192.168.1.1(for the acanac modem) or 192.168.0.1 in your browser. If either of those 2 ip address doesn't work you can click on start(if you have windows)--execute--cmd-- ipconfig you should see default gateway, that's you modem ip address.

You should see status or modem status, copy and paste it here, you can also contact Acanac PN, he will be able to help you out if you can't find you modem stat.

i can log into the modem but i cant find the "modem stats"

send an instant im to Acanac PN he will be able to get the modem stat for you, the problem you got right now is that Bell probably put you on a lower profil, they tend to do that to new customer

Don't forget to give him your acanac user id, name and phone number
