Horrible ping time and speeds during night...

I have been having horrible speeds during night the speed typically drops from 15Megs to about 200 kpbs between 8 PM and 11PM every night with ping time >150ms. It started happening about a week ago. Wondering if some is having the same issue? I am in Dalhousie area...

Is it only at night or all the time? Between what times? What did Shaw say when you called them?

Have you had packet loss during the worst speed times? Have you had it during the best?

This is from Shaw. They also stated it is effecting a large amount of customers. Call and complain. Because i am going to squeeze to free months out of them for the run around. 3 weeks my net like clock work has sucked from 5pm till midnight. Pretty sad on extreme i and it buffers youtube videos non stop!..

Emails from Shaw:

We apologize, the network update was for Nanaimo, we are still waiting to complete the Courtenay region.

I was just informed that we identified a larger problem that will be affecting your speeds. As this is a bigger challenge and it's been identified, we hope to get a resolution very soon.

We will email you once we have an ETA of the fix.
