w0g : Running Windows 7 Enterprise and my ISP is Clear with their home modem that uses Ethernet. Ran a tweak test and it said my MTU was set to 1400 - when I check Windows 7 it's conifugred for 1500, so the modem has it's own MTU that I don't believe can be configured by the user of MTU. What I need to know is if there would be any improvement at all by changing the MTU of 1500 on clients behind the modem to match the MTU of the modem (1400).?
