 We had some from the time we moved into our new house for about 9 months. My wife found some ant killer that they take back to the mound and kill the source. They were all gone for about 6 months. We just recently noticed their return set the traps again and again they have disappeared. I will post the name when I get home.

We use Terro Ant Killer. It is bait with poison. They take it home to munch on and die. We have found it very effective.
