Teleblend number not in service

I have two phone number assigned to my account Household and Signature number. When I call Household number, I get a message that "number not in service", but signature number works. For outbound calls Household number is displayed to others. I don't know what is going on. I opened a ticket (#351089) and called support, no response.

Can any TBSupport people monitering this fourm help me?

The ticket number you gave is an old ticket number. Is there a new ticket or is it the same issue? If you want to PM me more information that would be great and I can take a look?

For me , When ever some one calls my teleblend number , It says Number De-activated. Looks like there is a problem with the systems on the TB side. Some one from TB support help ?

Thanks for the ticket number. Your telephone number is part of a very small subset of customers experiencing an inbound outage. We have been working with the carrier on this issue and we hope to have a resolution very shortly. I apologize for the problems you are having. I will keep you updated as I get more information for you.

Yes it has been. Like I mentioned we are working as quickly as possible to resolve it. My personal telephone number is included in this subset, so I understand your frustration.

Out of curiosity, what causes a carrier to have a multiple DID outage for four days?

There can be a lot of different things from switch outages, to hardware outages, to cut lines, and a lot of other things as well.

Ok, let me rephrase my question in a different way.

What caused the current issue that makes Radioactive and other customers not able to receive calls?

Do you have a ticket number? That way we can ensure you get an update on the issue. We are updating our customers as appropriate.

I'm actually not a customer - I just was curious so I could attempt to avoid the problem for myself in the future.

Unfortunately, these are carrier issues that you and your provider will be unable to for see.

Based on your responses to my questions, I assume that you do not wish to publicize the reason for the downtime. That is of course your decision, but please be aware that ignoring requests for information about an ongoing issue is rarely better PR than offering a full explanation.

With respect, I am not aware of any CLEC currently experiencing unforeseen downtime on their DIDs. If this were the case, then we would have multiple customers from multiple VoIP providers with the same issue.

Re: Teleblend number not in service - tkt number 354781

Just wondering. I am not sure if this is going to be resolved soon , Can TB help me in getting a temporary Signature number quickly. It wil atleast help us to get it thru to some of our close friends who call us every day/week. Already called CS and asked for it. They said they will look into it. But looking for a quick answer.

Radioactive, just to confirm: your telephone number has not been working since October 18. Teleblend has not provided you any information about what the problem is and when it will be fixed, and they have not yet provided you with an alternate number. Correct?
