Fotch : I have had Sprint for going on 3 years. About every 2 months, it slows. Nothing new. In all this time, its never been the confuser, always something on their end. Usually the tower.
Upload speed is a little bit faster this morning, about dial up speed now. They are still trouble shooting it.

Jack_in_VA : Remember your upload is entirely dependent on your modem being able to transmit the data to the tower. Your download looks normal so I would not think it's a Sprint tower problem. That's why I used the pigtail on mine to make sure I had the correct power to the modem.

Right now I have someone on with me. They must be streaming video 16 hr/day. My max down with just me is 1.2 so this has been going on for 4 days now. My up however is fine.

Fotch : Started out great, then after the first year, it steadly gets worse. My upload speeds are so slow I cannot complete most speed test. Use to be 10 times faster. I would of quite a long time ago but could not find service that would allow a router to connect. Now I think others have found a way to do so. I am going to check into US Cellular, best cell phone service I ever had. Hope their new broadband is as good.

caribconsult : I experienced something similar during a recent visit to California's Bay Area. There obviously was a multi-T1 tower nearby because I was getting downloads in the vicinity of 2Mbps, but uploads were creeping at around .14 Mbps, like that shown by Zeek15. Here at home, my downloads drop to around 700-900kbps due to just a single T1 tower, but uploads can be up to 1Mbps! Go figure.
--
Sierra 598U/Cradlepoint CTR500, grid antenna, Millenicom unlimited, 2 LinkSys WiFi a/p, 4 XPPro and 1 Ubuntu units, FireFox everywhere.

Jack_in_VA : Even on a single T-1 tower upload speeds are generally not effected by loading as much as downloading. Uploaded data is nowhere near download levels.

Uploading issues can be caused by the amount of transmit power your modem is providing. When you're downloading you are receiving the signal the tower is providing. If you are not using a "Y" connector for your modem you should get one. That will provide your modem twice the available power if it needs it.

I'm on a single T-1 and here's my data.

Belinrahs : That's not too awfully bad - it looks like you're on a single T1-fed tower. I wouldn't expect upload to get too much higher than that.
