I may download a pirated copy to play the singleplayer - But no way in hell i'm spending 60 bucks on something that will have crap multiplayer.
And yes, it WILL have crap multiplayer is they don't give the option of dedicated servers. The PC gaming community thrives off of the dedicated server community. When you go to play a multiplayer FPS you keep a favorite server, and you start playing with the regulars of said server.
Also, no 'mod' is going to be able to add dedicated server support. Proper ded. server support requires a specialized server binary among a vast array of other things.
